Weight Training Equipment


I think, losing weight these days is no more difficult, what difficult is to retain it for a long time. People get motivated easily and this mostly happens during their vacations, when they have plenty of free time to think! As soon as they figure out they are getting bulky, they are more likely to join a Gym at their earliest. After a couple of weeks, the results show up just as expected in the form of a stunning and athletic shape of their body.

The question that arises here is, “how long would they be able to keep their body look like that”? Of course, to keep that shape, they need to work out on a regular basis, for their whole life. What happens when their inspiration is gone? They get back whatever they lost; except for the time and chunk of money they expended!

In many cases, this happens because it gets hard for the people to continue going to a Gyms, as they are unable to find time out of their everyday hectic schedule. For these busy bees it is advisable that they have weight training equipment in their houses. This way, whenever they get time, they can workout at their convenience.

   Weight training program is beneficial for us in so many ways. Out of several, some are discussed below:
  1. It helps you reduce your excessive weight,
  2. It tones your muscles to give you a great look,
  3. It raises your basal metabolism. This way your body is able to burn more calories,
  4. It also reverses the natural process of declining in your metabolism, which starts around the age of thirty,
  5. It reduces the risk of osteoporosis by fortifying your bones,
  6. It improves the endurance of our muscles,
  7. Weight training program just tones the muscles of women, they do not make them develop bigger muscles,
  8. As you get stronger, you become more confident. This way you do your work even better,
  9. It improves the immunity of your body and gives it a good posture,
  10. Chances of low back injuries reduce,
  11. It lessens your resting blood pressure,
  12. It decreases the chances of being a victim of onset diabetes in adults,
  13. It reduces the risk of developing colon cancer as it decreases your gastrointestinal transit time,
  14. It increases the level of good type of blood cholesterol (HDL),
  15. It improves the performance of your heart by lowering the resting heart rate,
  16. It makes better the balance and coordination of your body,
  17. It energizes your body and elevates your mood.
I hope this underlines the essentiality of a proper weight training program to live a long, happy, and healthy life. As we all live a tiring life style, we desperately need such programs in our everyday routine. Wouldn’t that be wiser to bring the Gym home, instead of wasting time and money getting there?

Living a lengthy and healthy life!

Benjamin Franklin, who was one of the founding fathers of the United States and a noted polymath, once said, “To lengthen thy life, lessen thy meals”. That’s so true be it’s only the one half of the area under discussion. As far as the other half is concerned, living a healthy life, you need to work out, and this is how you can preserve your youth for a long time. Slothful people look bigger than their ages and, I presume, by now, you would know why!
We know the importance of machines in our lives today. They are so much involved in our everyday life that their impacts on our bodies can be openly seen. Machines like automobiles and cell phones are responsible to make us look in poor shape; however, there are various machines like treadmill and weight machine, which help us in shaping our bodies. These exercise machines have their significance in our lives as they help us live healthy.

In today’s hectic schedule, people are short of time. They not even want to go to the market for purchasing, let alone going out and exercising. So it’s advisable for them that they have home fitness equipments. There are various multi-in-one home gym equipments that are indispensable and that can keep our stomach flat and thighs tight to give us an attractive look.

There is a range of home fitness equipments available in the market. Some of them are multi-gym, tread mills, and exercise bikes. Multi-gym is equipment that is used to strengthen the arms, shoulders, chest, thighs, calves, pectorals etc. Tread mills has a platform and is used for walking and running. Exercise bikes are stationary bicycles and that are made to shape our legs.
You must keep up the physical and mental discipline to do exercises habitually, if you really want to enjoy feeling and looking youthful. If you are the one who stay busy for most of the hours in a day and cannot go to a fitness center, home gym equipments are enough for you to workouts at home.

Fitness has no finish line…

I hope you will not disagree with my notion that, staying fit is actually the art of living, not eating! Not sure, if you have heard that Old Italian proverb which says, “He who enjoys good health is rich, though he knows it not”. Know it; fitness is your asset… your affluence.
     
For scores of people, to stay fit is to take a proper diet plan. Diet plans do wonders, I don’t refute but, they do that as long as you stick to them. It’s all about “eat this”, and “don’t eat that”. Do you think you can stick to a diet plan for more than a year? I don’t think so. Let alone eating it, you won’t even like to see it placed in front of you after some days. So these diet plans do have a “Finish Line”… But fitness has no finish line!
When you return to your normal diet, you start detesting looking in the mirror even more than you did before! Why? Because the metabolism of your bod does not appreciate these changes in your diet, so it reflects an adverse effect on your body. Very soon you observe that your lost weight is back just like a loyal dog… accompanied by a few extra lbs! J

Living a healthy life signifies to change how you live your life. I never said a nutritious diet wasn’t important? Oh sure it plays an imperative role in our fitness. Just eat what is good for your body. Eat everything but whatever you eat, should have good hygiene.
Remember there is no “easy button” in life, to stay fit you need to work out. I am not asking you to play with dumbbells, what I am proposing, is a little bit of walking, doing dips and skipping rope. Exercise has positive impacts not only on your body, but it also fights chronic diseases, improves your mood, boosts your energy level, promotes sound sleep, and puts the spark back in your sexual life.
As I said earlier, fitness has no finish line… so to stay happy while looking in the mirror, change the way you live!
